Rear tires on 2012 E 63 PP
Guys-quick question, at 8000 miles on my car I think I need new rear tires, they are currently stock 19's. This sound earlier than for most of you or about average? I live in Scottsdale, AZ.., thanks

To me, you got good mileage on those tires. With 590 lb/ft of tq and the car driven the right way that is about average. I went bald around 5k miles but I ran a tuned m157 and the car was always getting pushed; from digs, rolls, high speeds etc.

+1 8000 miles is really good in my opinion with all that TQ. plus idk if u have michelin plot super sports tiires like i do but, typically high performance tires are made of a softer compound so the rubber lays down and sticks to the pavement giving you better traction. the downside is the thread wears alot quicker

It also depends on where you live. If you have lots of above 45 F days like SoCal, then you have lots of chances to push it hard. I'm still looking for warm days to wear mine down but having a daytime temp of above freezing point is few around this time of the year.
