E63 Performance Pack - Switching to Low Dust Pads

I am already going crazy with the brake dust with just 500 miles on my car.

I put Akebono pads on my 2004 E55 with great success. Does anyone know a part number for Akebonos to fit this car?

Thanks

I ordered Porterfield pads for a 2012. I'll let everyone know if they fit.

So are Akebono pads available for MY2010+ E63's?

I wasn't able to find them. I called Porterfield, and they didn't know if they fit, so they are going to allow me to return them if they don't fit.

You only have 500 miles on your stock pads?
If so, do you want to sell them?

Now it is 6xx miles, and the pads should be here next week. I will sell you them, once I bed them, and make sure they don't squeak.

That's a plan : )
Definetly make sure you are happy with the Porterfields, before selling me those stock pads.

Next time you have your car washed, put a layer of wax on the wheels. If you're lazy like me, use the liquid stuff or even something like Griots Garage Bug Spray. It creates some slickness to your wheel and you'll be surprise and how good it is at keeping the dust from sticking to your wheels. I finally spent a little time doing it a few weeks back, cleaning my wheels out and applying it. Took half an hour and after a week and a half of driving i would say it reduced the dust sticking to my wheels by at least 70%.
