Digging this badboy up from the dead. Did anyone ever get the Supersprint turbo-back downpipes? Loved the design, seem like it would have some gains

That's from their website. See link:

Downpipes in particular:

...and yes, $4k-ish retail. They do a lot of discounting with the right people but that is a whole lot of money.

they have been out for a long time but havent seen any results (probably because they are no better than stock) .... if i was going to pay that kind of money i would just go with the weistec turbo back dps that uses on larger pipe instead of spliting exhaust between 2 smaller pipes like supersprint design

Now that I look at the SuperSprint pipes with the separated wastegate. It makes a lot of sense but, I couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of $ on them. Weistec's kit is $4800 and comes with mounts and brackets for a clean install. I did Boost Logic Turbopipes and midpipes for $1400 shipped and got the Weistec brackets and some ECE mounts. All those parts cost me less than the SuperSprint Pipes alone and installed they even cost less than the 4matic Weistec kit. The divorced pipes may add a bit more power so I'm not against it I just don't think they're worth another 15hp over normal 3" pipes for that extra $ but most people say that about turbopipes themselves so, maybe its just a broke man's perspective. Anyways, let us know what you think of them if you get them.
