One step cooler NGK plug after tuned
I did the Eurocharged stage 1 tune last month and really enjoyed the additional HP and torque. On top of that, the power curve seemed to be tuned as well so the reaction from pushing throttle now is much better.
After about 3 weeks, there were two misfires under WOT. One from cylinder #5 and 2nd time was from #6. My SA helped out greatly by 1). getting code and identified the engine check light on only for these two misfire. 2). since after restart engine, car ran very normal as long as I don't do WOT for more than few seconds, my manager made sure technician would not try to clear the engine check light so my tuned ECU would not get re-flashed.
I know one well known tuner has found a particular NGK one step cooler plug (but they remark so the part number is not shown) to buy more room to prevent pre-ignition that would cause misfiring. I called NGK and Jason helped out greatly and he was able to identify the right plug by 1). asking me to send him one MB stock plug so he could open it up and 2). cross checking by multiple way to identify what plug the tuner chooses from NGK's list.
I then bought 10 of them and my manager arrange technician replace all 8 stock plugs. After some test drive, the engine seems run even more responsive and idle improve too. I have only tried short WOT few times but not yet be very aggressive. No sign of PI and will update more once I feel more confident of staying WOT for longer time.
Since I don't want the ECU got re-flash so I have to drive with the engine light on (from previous misfire). My SA told me the light will be off after about 30 cycles..........I certainly hope this take place soon.

I just got the Renntech ECU tune a week ago and went with their spark plugs also. Haven't had any issues so hopefully that took care of it. Was a little skeptical on the plugs cause they're so damn expensive but figured with what the tune cost whats another $300?
And yeah, the added hp and tq is insane.

I have Renntech Tune and plugs from them. Had a misfire on 4 cylinders with that set up last week. Sent the ecu to Renntech and should get it back today. They said they tweek the tune little bit. Hopefully it was just random misfire bc I have renntech tune for bout 6 months and never had a misfire but that day I was abusing the car like never before.

Hmmm, there is sign of PI again. when I aggressively push throttle, engine would shatter a bit first then continue increasing power. I think this is sign of getting misfire. I didn't feel comfortable to floor the throttle.
When I slow down after that all 8 cylinders were running fine. I am a little confused now. will contact Jerry next Monday looking for suggestion. Maybe tuning down the power curve a bit will help.

what kind of gas are you using?? and did you get a 93 octane tune from eurocharged?
i used some cheap gas station once. only gas station around on the way home. and i got a check engine light on the next day.

You say you run Shell 91 ,MV99 Have you tried other name brands, maybe Chevron?. Personally only used Shell maybe twice in my life time and did not have good results. In Canada I use only Esso 91 with no issues what so ever. Just saying!

Me and my service manager discussed a bit and I will observe for couple of days. Most likely I will try to put brand new stock plug to see if there is difference. Will update few days later.

i had misfire issues with my eurocharge tune several months ago. I was one of the first with the tune and have misfires in 5, 6,
I have recently sent back the ecu for a retune and Eurocharged new mapping. No issues yet, stock plugs
I am running downpipes, not sure if that is making a difference. Looks like most of all tuners have had misfire issues. Most users are hesistant on speaking about it for whatever reason
