Got tuned, by Alpha performance (AMS)

Finally got around to getting the e63 tuned. For those of you who haven't, oh man, u don't know what your missin. Driveability and smoothness completely untouched from stock. Throttle response now crisp and immediate, and now, finally now the car feels like a beast. I think it's as fast if not faster when mashing the throttle from a roll then my GT-R. Smooth linear power delivery, just a WALL OF TORQUE. No muss no fuss no hiccups. Great thanks to the consummate professionals at AMS performance. Dan, Eric, Martin, and of course CHRIS. Very knowledgeable, professional and truly a elite level shop.

First time I layed into it and it downshifted to 2nd gear my head literally bounced off the headrest like a basketball as it just took off so brutally, I let off because it frankly startled me as I never expected the car to accelerate that hard. Those with M157, please unlock these motors. Insane.

This cars new nickname is "the Great Wall of torque" the 8th wonder of the world.

Stock numbers are 499 rwhp and 523 rwtq
Tuned numbers are 628 rwhp and 722 rwtq

Links to dyno sheets, hope it wrks

Uh .... They upped boost from 7.8 psi to over 17psi on stock motor/turbos with just a software tune????!! That cannot be good for the long term reliability and durability of the engine & turbos. You are going to pop those cherries in 10k miles at those levels.

Non pp. mods are tune only. Not a canned tune, but a custom dyno tune.

Yes the PP car is over 18 psi stock and the non PP cars are circa 14.4. No car would make even the factory bhp at 7.8 psi LOL.

People used to say that on the older 55k motors before they started blowing too. It will effect longevity no matter how you look at it. Caveat emptor. This time is NOT different

Its called "pay to play" most of the buyers on the new cls understand this. Since they all forked over reasonable amounts of money to buy the car let alone tune it.

Now the M113K guys that have bought the car in the last few years got themselves a low price car that was almost 8-10 years old. And then if they modded it and blew it they all freaked out expecting it to handle the mods like it was a brand new car....

What was the cost of the tune and where is the location of Alpha? Thinking if I could bring my car there I might be interested if it's not too far a drive. I'll be heading from R.I to Fla in Sept, so I'm hoping Alpha is on the East coast.

Very nice but I'm confused. Isn't the crank stock hp at 518? So how is your rwhp stock at 499? Only 19hp loss from crank to rwhp?
