day-to-day experience with carbon ceramic brakes?
As I'm anxiously waiting to get the order finalized on my 2014 S-wagon (talked to dealer today... should be: 1- order beginning of august 2 - october production 3- december delivery... geese It's a long wait!), I have time to think... maybe too much time because I'm considering going with the carbon brake option.
I mentionned it to my salesguy and he is concerned about squeeking on day-to-day driving. He had a couple of complaints about that. Not that he is trying to steer me out of it (bigger commission for him!!) but he's warning me...
Anyone with CCB experience squeeking? If yes how bad/anoying is it and can it be controlled with regular brake cleaning to remove dust/débris that often cause squeeking? I tend to listen to music quite loud so I guess it's not going to bother me. Just bad if I wake up the whole neigborhood when arriving at night.
