Space lost with B&O subwoofer in a wagon?
I'm considering going with the B&O sound system on my E63 wagon and read that with the sub you loose some space in the trunk... Is it a considerable amount of dead space? If anyone with a wagon and B&O could clarify this maybe with some pics I would really apreciate it. It could be the argument that will make me go with the Harman Kardon system!

I was told that it is the amp that takes up the space, not the sub. In the sedan it is attached to the roof of the trunk which also means you cannot have the 'utility basket' or whatever they call that.
You also lose the spare tire and instead get an inflator kit.
If you are getting a wagon you'll have tonnes of space.

you don't lose space - you lose the spare donut.
Still, if you are somewhere really out there - this is a BIG issue.
Personally struggling with it... want B&O, but hate to lose the donut.

I hate those inflator kits as well... even if it's a life saver I like the safety of a "real tire". Then again what are the odds?? I never had a flat tire in 20 years of driving. I asked my dealer to let me know when the get a car with B&O so I can listen to it before deciding...
