Tuners ---> Why no OBD tuning for M157 ??
As title says why no OBD tuning for M157? Its not like it just came out, to my knowledge (correct me if im wrong) M157 first appeared on S63 and CL63 in 2011 model year. So its been over 2 years now...

M157 ecu has new Infineon Tricore chip that prevents anti-tuning that is why it is not possible to read and write by obd port. Only the factory Mercedes knows the password. so only it can be tuned on bench for now.

As far as I know the last gen ecus me9.7s have only recently based on when they came out been able to be obd tuned. I would bet another few years until these new tri cores are able to be obd'd for the reason posted above. they are far more complex than the old ecus.
