Pricing on E63s Order

I am just curious how folks have been handling negotiating pricing on the new 2014 e63s when special ordered. What are you getting deducted off MSRP?

How are lease rates turning out?

Thanks for the help!

I negotiated from invoice since MSRP wasn't know. I negotiated $2k over invoice. Delivery November.

Lease info for August, 36 month lease: (per Vic55) **For "S" model, not standard E63**
15k is 54%
12k is 56%
10k is 57%

Money factor: 0.00195 with a .0001 discount with direct withdrawal making best rate 0.00185

How can I find the invoice pricing? Right now I am stuck at $3500 off MSRP.

Invoice is typically 7% off MSPR give or take a few $. The first dealer in town I contacted was stuck at $2k off. The next dealer I spoke with after I told them I was debating between the E63 and an M5 with $1000 over invoice already guaranteed on the M5 came back with my accepted price of $2k over invoice.

Keep checking other dealerships. Someone will want to sell you one.

Good Luck,

this would indeed be very useful information - although dealers (and those that get the deals) don't like to disclose invoice price...understandably...

The lease residual rates quoted above are wrong. I was told by my dealer the residual for 36 months, 10k miles is actually 61%

Ok, I got my numbers from Vic55 and he is usually in the know...the numbers I gave are for the S model, with the non-s having higher residuals so make sure your dealer is giving you the right numbers. I would bet on Vic over a dealer...

Tricky guys! I should've just trusted in Vic!

36mo lease comes out to about $1300 for a $104k MSRP vehicle. Not too shabby...but I want to try and get it below 1200 if possible.

Taxes and fees upfront so I dont have to pay interest on them.

Yes the car will lease rather well upfront--- if one can get the net cap in the right range...

No wagon updates unless they are mirroring the sedan residuals. The wagon residuals when I got mine were lower than the sedan (Feb 2012). So if they dont mirror the std, P, and SP- they will probably be lower.

Hey guys. The 61% is for the non-S. Vic is right. Also to calculate an estimated invoice price, take out the destination and delivery from the MSRP, then deduct 6%. You have invoice. Holdback is another 5% or so depending on the dealerships performance and region.

So you're telling me if a dealer guaranteed me that the correct residual for a S-model 36 months, 7.5k miles/year is 62% - I should try to sign the docs ASAP?

Sign the docs- double check their math at the time of signing too. I guarantee finance will catch it and if they dont then MBFS will and will tell the dealer to fix the contract. And in turn they will call you, of course its a lease so you could refuse to come in and they would own the contract (depending on state laws) since there is no 10 day recision letter on leases (again depends on state laws).

Yea dont waste your time on a clerical error. They will catch it and something will get screwed up. Not worth it. In Florida they will just take the car back if you refuse to sign the revised cashable contracts. They will probably catch it anyway when you go to sign

the best I could get was $1,500 of MSRP... should I shop for better?

Yes. I started at $3,500 off MSRP. My goal is to get to at least $5k off MSRP.

I thnk you can do better, but really depends on where you are. If you have like 1 dealer in a 100 mile radius, then you may not do better. If you are in a highly populated area w a few dealers I am sure you can do better. Also factor in how picky you are going to be. Is this for a factory order? Consider the dealership service as well, thats a big factor for me. A few grand here or there isnt necessarily as important as having a great dealership with an awesome service dept. For example, Mercedes of Tampa is open 7 days a week, including service on Sunday, free carwash anytime you want and some other cool perks that add value. So I drive the exta 10 miles to go there vs. going to my local dealer 4 miles away.

If I have a flat tire or something on Sunday and need the car fixed or a loaner etc. I am not going to care about the 1k I saved last year when I bought it. Thats the way I see it anyway. Fortunately I get good deals from my dealer of choice and dont have to shop around, I hated doing that wth previous cars.

Anyone know the likelihood of bouncing out of MBFS lease early without getting reamed? I'm thinking like a year early.
