The S8 is my company car. I will not mod it.
I can tell you the S8 feels quicker at launch. But E63 is stronger at the top end.
I did the 1/4 mi in 12.1 at 117.5 in the S8
I will take the E63S to the Drag strip soon, then again after a tune.

I believe the E63s hits the real torque at 2k RPM...it should pull harder.

I forgot what mag did a dyno on it but they pulled over 500 (closer to 530 I think) hp at the wheels.

Congrats on the car and beautiful color.
I still have a tough time getting used to the overall look of the new E.
Interesting comment on the S8 and makes you wonder how good will the RS7 be if the S8 is that much underrated.

GT-R, RS6, Z06, S4
Being in my 40's, the desire for a comfortable car is starting to out way outright performance. The GT-R is going, E63, RS7 or S8 will replace it.

Yes, I've read several reviews of it. Looks like a complete beast. If I was an older guy in my 40s+ I might consider such a big battleship...but alas, the land ship is just a bit too large for my tastes.

i love the S8, looked at one about six months ago. i just get *****y service and mercedes treats me and my family like gold. But the S8 is a fantastic car, love all the tech stuff and the seats are amazing. Im a huge fan of the RS7 as well. Saw that at detroit in white, also a beautiful Audi.

I own S8, and just got the E63S last Friday.
S8 is quicker off the line, probably 0 to 60 too. 8speed gear box probably the reason
E63S pulls harder at the top end. Should beat the S8 in 1/4 mi. I will know Friday.
S8 is more of a luxury car than E63S
Price, basically the same.
E63S seems a lot more performance oriented. E63Ssounds better.
Ergonomics , E63S is better
S8 2.5 mph adjustment only on cruise control, sucks compared to E63S.
S8 seats are wonderful on short trips. Long trips they get to soft.
Electronics, Audi stuff I will never use. Why do I need a hot spot in a car?
Now the big difference: Front torque steer, S8 is pronounced, E63S AMG's 33/67 split seems to be just perfect.
If I went to the garage right now I would drive the E63S.

Yeah, I found myself using it on long trips because the seat are too soft.

its way to hot for the track right now if u live in S. FL 95-100 Degrees with 90 percent humidity every day ! wait till its cold and I bet the e63s will trap 122-123mph considering the wagon did it in 120mph and the sedan weigh 500 pounds less
