Mercedes Extended Warranty
I just wanted to take a moment to give thanks and kudos to Erin Mahre from Mercedes of Santa Rosa. I just purchased a certified E63 and wanted to add some peace of mind and extend the CPO warranty to 7/135,000. I gave Erin a call and not only did she give me a great price but I was technically over the 30 day period in which you get a 15% discount on the warranty because the dealer filed the paperwork on the day I signed my purchase and sales, not the delivery date. Anyways, she did all the legwork and made all the necessary calls in order to get me within the 30 day window and get the discounted price.
If anyone needs a warranty, I highly recommend her. Her office line is (707)521-3996
Thanks again Erin!!!

2010 E63 AMG
My vehicle had around 36,000 miles when I purchased it and the factory warranty went to 7/2014. On top of that there's the additional year because of CPO so I was originally covered to 7/2015 & 100,000 miles. With the extension I purchased, it brings me to 7/2017 & 135,000 miles.
I paid $3450 for the warranty.

Can you tell us how many miles were on your car and what you paid for the warranty. Since the 2010's will run out of coverage next year, if they haven't already, this will help members find the best deals. I have a 2010 with 15k, the 7/75 was $4023, 7/100000-$5748.85, 7/125000-$7071.35. This was from Carousel MB. Phone (319)354-2550.

that seems a little expensive, i have a 2012 e350 so maybe the non amgs have a much cheaper warranty? the warranty i was offered was pretty much $950 a year for each of the three years past the new car 4 year warranty up to 100,000

AMG's are a whole different ball game when it comes to warranties. Actually the price is pretty good compared to what my BMW dealership wants for 2 year/100,000 extension on my 2010 M3.

That sounds right and is fairly close to what I paid when I got mine for 7yr/135K. I also spoke to Erin at the time. I ended up buying from Georgetown (in TX) for the same price.
The price is not bad compared to $950/year for the E350 considering how much AMG parts can cost when they need repair or replacement.

I had initially gotten a quote from Mark from Georgetown for $3350 but it was impossible to follow up with him to actually purchase it. I left him numerous voice mails, sent him multiple emails, and even had the operator personally give him a note to call me but no response. So, on someone else's recommendation I called Erin and she was awesome and quite responsive.

It was also a toss of the coin between Erin and Georgetown. It was so busy at that time that reaching anyone at either place is a blessing. I spoke to Georgetown second and when given the same quoted amount, I just bought it right there over the phone since I didn't want to play phone tags with Erin. Both of them were very helpful and friendly.

Purchased an ELW from Erin at Santa Rosa today. Very easy transaction. Took no more than ten minutes.
Went with the 7yr/100K option.

Another ringing endorsement for Erin Mahre from Mercedes of Santa Rosa ((707)521-3996)
I called her just before taking delivery of my car. I was able to contact her on my first call. She gave me a no nonsense price on a 7yr/75k and 7yr/100k warranty very quickly. PM me if you want to know pricing, as I don't know if she wants it public, but from what I understand, everyone gets the same, near cost pricing.
I took delivery of my car and as always, the finance manager offered me the Mercedes ELW. I said i would love to take the warranty if they could do her price. They said their prices were very low and were non-negotiable (Their price was essential retail pricing, about $1k more than Erin's price).
I then called Erin this afternoon and was able to purchase the 7yr/100k warranty in less than 10 minutes.
Probably one of the easiest transactions I have done. She is HIGHLY recommended.
If you want the ELW, call Erin.

Is milage at time of purchase a factor in price
Most of the post are about 2014 AMG's. I have a 2010 and was wondering if mileage at the time of purchase was a factor in the price? I only have 15k on my odometer so basically all I think I will need is the increase in years covered and not additional mileage. Has anyone received a quote for a 50k 3 year extension, if so could you post it or PM me. Thanks.

There's a matrix for number of additional years and total covered vehicle miles. Dealer sets price based on an MSRP for each combination of years and miles.
+1, +2, +3 Years. 75K, 100K or 125K total miles
As long as the vehicle is still covered by the original factory warranty, you're eligible to purchase the ELW.
You are going to pay a 15% surcharge for being past the first 30 days of ownership.

Surprisingly, after I called Erin, I was sitting in Finance with my dealer finalizing the 2012 E63 Wagon I just got and the local dealership matched the price.
I'm not sure I've ever saved $1000 with as little effort.

anybody have her email address? you can PM or post.
We already know the dealer and phone number, posting her email would help.
I'm not in a hurry, but my 2012 is already at 30k miles. I will buying ELW in the next 6 months or so and I want to start comparing prices.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
I got a price of 4999 on a 7/100 on my 2012 AMG hopefully Erin can beat this price also w/ no sales tax as I'm not in CA. She is really hard to get a hold of though, I guess all those finance people are busy bodies. Hopefully be able to connect with her soon, I'm pretty sure she will be less than the 4999 my local dealer quoted me. No great rush for me either though as I've got a couple years left on the original factory warranty and only 20k miles on the car right now.

Just spoke with Erin, she is writing up my 7/100K warrantee now, good deal. She is really busy and that's why she is hard to get a hold of but she is the best as was said above to deal with, real nice woman. I vote for a raise for her and a personal secretary, lol.

Erin comes through again
I figured that since my 2010 E63 AMG was running out of warranty I had better get one and Erin came in the lowest. Since I like to keep my money in the local economy I e-mailed my local dealer and asked if she could match or beat Erin's quote. At first she replied that that the policy Erin was offering wasn't a real M-B warranty, but a 3rd party warranty as the price was way to cheap. I relayed what Erin had told me about the policy and she replied that I should jump on it as Erin must have some special arrangement as that was cheaper than she could get it for, implying that it wasn't a real M-B policy or I just made the quote up. So I did just what she said and called Erin and bought the policy. I saved over a $1,000.00. I'm starting to have doubts about my dealership, this is the same dealership that when I inquired about a warranty a year ago was told that since I wasn't the original owner I could not get a M-B warranty and would have to go to one of their 3rd party companies. I sat there as she typed in the info to get a quote from both companies, she said for some reason both of the systems had locked up and she would e-mail me the quotes. Got the e-mail and she said that neither of the companies would cover the AMG, but she pulled some strings at M-B and was now able to offer me a warranty thru them. I don't think they are trust worthy. Again, give Erin a call, I don't think anyone can beat her price.

I am in the exact same boat. I bought my 10' E63 (I'm the second owner) at RBM north Atlanta which had serviced the car since new. At any rate, the non CPO warranty expires 31 May. I would love to extend, but not sure if I can since it is non CPO'd. Do I have a fighting chance to extend with a MB warranty?
Car has 31K miles on her now.
