What's the rationale for keeping the E550 instead of the CLS, since both are body style W212?

Well the E550 is a kind of the DD and winter car, the CLS550 is a lease and we had the chance to get out of it about half way through to get the E63.

Anybody know why the passenger seat isnt adjustable?? meaning the bolsters dynamic seating/pulse all that stuff??

in official pictures the car has it! dont know why mine doesnt, is it a US spec thing

onthe driver side it seems then thigh bolster resets every time u turn the car off, maybe to let the air out...i like the bmw system better, no airbags, just electric..

Will the E63 also be used as a DD and winter car? I would, because most AMG is no museum piece and you only lose money if you don't drive it. Just hose down the entire car and especially the underside and wheel wells once a week and you're GTG through the winter.

yeah itll probably get snow tires on it, just got the car tuesday and already has 500 miles on it lol cant get out of it! i switch off driving the E550 with my family, so its really all of our DD's since my dad doesnt use his bentley all the time, although he could if had to!

Whoa Nick, I didn't know about the E63. Thats awesome! I don't think you had it the last time that I saw you at CnC. I can't wait to see it in person, hopefully they'll throw something informal together before the weather gets too bad. Congrats though, it looks beautiful and the AWD has got to make it an absolute beast.

BTW, the last time I saw you and your dad that day at Pitt Race, he said something about my car being his "old car." I know that he had an SL55 before, so was he just making a general reference, or is my car actually his old car?

yeah i hope we can throw something together soon! i love it its such an animanll! yeah he had an 07 55 before haha he did have an 04, but it was white! he still misses that car to this day!

finally passed the break in period! no issues loving the hell out of the car, only issue is a noise in the seat which is being replaced, other than that car is solid! Truly a beast, cant wait for tuners to get around the supposed tq limiter......

I got the stationwagon mostly because og the looks and a little because of the need for space.
Itīs not that I do not like the sedan.
Itīs actually growing on me this E class sedan.
The more I see it around the more elegant i find it :-)
