2010 E63 AMG NA PErformance Upgrades
Probably most of you have moved on past the 2010 models and are into the newer models. So you may or may not be interested in this post. But I recently bought a 2010 E63 NA and am having a blast!! I am having such a blast that I thought I might sign up on the forums and then post my story (as time goes on) and then just sit there and read it...HA!
Today I had "The Beast" on the dyno and posted a very nice 414 RWHP (attached). I, then put on the Carbonio Air Package and left out the charcoal filters...no real gain there. Would have set up the tuner and run it on the dyno, but ran out of time. So, tonight, I got the file and put in on the handheld and will beef The Beast up in the morning. Hopefully I will have the chance to get back on the dyno within the next couple days.
Once I have fiddled with everything, I am going to take it to a local "Euro" guy and see if we can't dial it in some more and really max out the upgrades that I have already bought. Then we might do some exhaust work. So far, this whole experience has been great. I am a little unimpressed with the filter and airbox changes, but hopefully those gains will come out in the tune. I expect them to. Other than that, the frieking engine looks unreal with that sweet carbon fiber in there. Looks good. Feels good. Drives good. Sounds good. All is good!!!!
So I have always been a truck guy (am building a 6.7L 2012 RAM 2500), but this Benz may have changed me forever. What's next...Ferarri 430? Looking back, I may have gone FAI. But this car is so nice. I hope to have it for a long time. Anyway, will keep my progress posted for those who may be on the same track.
Cheers to Adam and Jerry at Eurocharged for all of their support! Thanks guys!! Rod

I still have my '10 so I'll keep checking this thread for your progress. I'd like to see your dyno graph once you've put the eurocharge tune on.
Unfortunately, the NA 6.3 is maxxed out. You can always do meth/nitrous or drop a sinlge large turbo.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Good info there for us still having perhaps the last large displacement N/A engine from AMG. Thus enjoy it while you can. Yes, the sound. Oh, the sound...
As mentioned, you can forced induced it ala ie Weistec if you want some unreal gain.

I have a 2011 E63 black/black with a RennTECH tune, headers, sound pipe & blacked out chrome & black powder coated wheels. It was the greatest thing I had ever driven until I took delivery of a Tesla Model S P85 in Jan '13. I couldn't part ways with the E63, though, and still love the sound of that fire breathing dragon that the Tesla doesn't provide. Don't really need two 4-door sedans, lol, but I can't seem to part with either of them!
Enjoy that 6.3 NA while you can! thanks for the post

Update? Post tune dyno results? Something to think about, you probably won't see any improvements from the air box on the dyno cause the car isn't moving so you're not getting anymore airflow? Just my. 02. POST TUNE DYNO!!!!!

Porsche 911 Turbo S 2014! E63S 14, Audi S8 13, CLS63 12, E550 12, C63 09, all tuned
The max you can get out of M156 with out doing internals or Super charger is about 470 RWP. Air box, bored 80 mm throttle body, SS headers, cat less down pipes, high performace exhaust, LSD, then custom tune to match upgrades.
