Ive done a million brake jobs before but not specifically on a 6 pot front caliper. I watched videos on youtube on how to remove the 2 pins from the 4 pot and compress the caliper with a pair of pliers and the old pads. Just remove the pins and slide out the pads and slide in the new ones but on the 6 pot front calipers there is some kind of bolt. I didn't take a good look at it but does anyone know what kind of bolt it is? Or do you have to take the caliper off on the 6 pots to change the pads?
