Not interested in a check engine light for 10 HP.
Im not convinced them by themselves will make a significant difference that one can feel or objectively show gains.

wouldnt have your kleeman mods have recommended filters if they made a difference in the performance of the car....
i dont know the specs of a K3 mods, but im sure your probably already over 200hp from stock right

Air filters aren't going to give much of an increase in power, and oiled ones certainly aren't worth the risk of fouling an MAF IMO.
There are some decent performance filters available from AFE (pro-dry not the oiled) and Weistec.

You have to press the middle in, but lift up on the outer tab. I had to use a small flathead to press in while I lifted up on the tab, or I did it the other way around, don't quite remember.

Thanks! I ended up not having to unpin the connectors to change the air filters. Its doable with the sensors still connected.
