A question for the MB World Forum. I've placed my order for a 2014 E63 AMG S wagon. How are other members arriving at details on where in the manufacturing and shipping process their automobiles are? I'm understandably giddy with anticipation. According to my dealer this info will dribble in direct from them. Are there online tools available to check status of build and not rely on dealer? Thanks MB World !!

Well, if you are lucky enough to be on Wallenius, then you can find out what ship your car is on by putting the VIN in the cargo ID box here:
https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...ckSearchResult
Once you know the name of the ship, there are many marine vessel tracking websites around. One is Sailwx.info: http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/index.html
Once it is in Canada, I can track it on CNrail. Since you are in the US, I can't really help you with the rail tracking. if you do a search of mbworld or e90post, there are many threads about tracking.
