Got the call!
My dealer called today and told me my car just arrived!
I knew the ship arrived in Baltimore on 11/5 but I did not expect to hear that the car had arrived for at least another week. My build date to dealer arrival was just about 3 1/2 weeks. Not too bad.
No pics yet but have asked dealer to send me a few just to tide me over. They are picking up my winter wheels from my house tomorrow so they will be installed at delivery on Thursday.
Now I just have to decide lease vs purchase.
Car MSRP: $105,045
Invoice~ $98,456 (BTW, Vic55's invoice formula is nearly spot on)
My price is Invoice+$2000-AMA $2500 fleet discount: $97,998 + TTD: $104,998
Lease: MF 0.0025, residual value 61%, 36 months, 10k per year: $1515.20 per month
Sale: $30k down, 1.99% for 60 months: $1317
Decisions...probably purchase.
Anyone know if I buy the extended warranty, can I get a refund if I sell car before the warranty becomes effective?
Thanks,
X

'14 E63S, '13 G550, '06 E320 cdi, and a bunch of other stuff.
Congratulations.
Re ELW: Yes, Refundable. Price goes up 30 days after purchase. Shop around for best deal.
Re Financing: Unless this is a business auto, don't buy money at 6% with that lease.
I used MBFS for spot financing, then refi'd at a CU for an even lower rate. Plus a 1% rebate.

Grats! If you're gonna get a call about your E63…the one saying it's here and earlier than expected is the best.
I seriously disliked the "oh, there's a production delay" one…lol.
Be sure to post those pics your dealer sends over!

Why are you paying .00250 MF? giving some money to the dealer? Of course this is not disclosed but you can back into it on the contract and derive the MF.... Tier A1 is .00195 currently and you can and should opt for auto pay (bring your routing number and checking acct) but signing and inputting the info at the bottom of the lease agreement. This will take your MF to .00185.
You can always cancel Autopay ATF too
Im glad my invoice formula worked.

Probably end up purchasing anyways but nice to have the real numbers now.

This was exactly why I posted my numbers! I knew you would be in the know. I figured I was getting bent on the MF.

I've tried to do the star on the trunklid 3X now, and I cannot get it to peel off cleanly. I didn't do the chrome bar below the trunk, as I was concerned with getting a good masking on the underside.
You definitely want to cover the trunk a bit more completely. There will be a lot of overspray when you do the up-angle coats.
And have fun picking out the centers of the "B"s and "R"s on the fenders.
Are you using black? I tried the "Dark Gray" the first time and it looked like primer. Covered it over with black.
I know I keep asking this question in different threads, but do you know how they are going to be installing the PPF? Meaning by using a computer-guided pattern or cutting by hand on the car...

Ha! Now you guys tell me. Total pain in the ***...The back chrome strip was easy breezy as was the AMG and E63 bur the star came right off when I was trying to peel the center pie sections. Considering redoing it but leaving the whole area black, just peel the our side.
V8 Biturbo came out crappy. Have to redo it. Will probably leave the little insides of the 8 B and o because I can see trying to get them out and screwing the whole thing up...again.
Hot tip. Do many coats so it is fairly thick and pull perpendicular to the peel surface.
Thanks for all the congrats.

And because you have created such a grand entrance with your posts and threads i feel entitled to expect mods to occur immediately, and be of the best in taste.

Couple more crappy iPhone pics. Showing winter wheels and tires and the beast M157.
Will post more and better pics after most personalization features have happened.
After getting feed back on how hard it is to do the rear MB emblem, I figure a new one can be had for about $15. Might as well pick one up from dealer, dip it off the car and replace it.
