Any Texans Out There?

I am out out Houston and the roads here are.. less than steller to drive. Anyone know of any good driving roads in Texas? I would imagine there would be some in West Texas but I am not at all sure where... just wondering if anyone has any ideas or suggestions of where to go.

There's some hwy interchanges that can be fun. Some good roads in the hill country. MSR is a good track you can get on during track days. There's some nice twisties in east texas as well.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Yes, just became one this past July, but I'm all the way out near the northwest/panhandle area. Gotta love this part of the country. I hope I'll retire here.

Thanks for the responses, I would rather not track the car. Well let me rephrase that. I want to track the car but for practicality reasons it does not make sense to track a daily driver. Ill make sure to try to get out to west texas.

Car free at the moment
Depends on your definition of good. If you want serpentine, google up the "three twisted sisters" - you'll get lots of hits on motorcycle forums. If you want endless horizons and non-existent traffic, try Hwy 90 west of Del Rio heading for the Big Bend country.
