PlastiDip exhaust tips?

PlastiDip exhaust tips?
While I wait for my car I have time to think... maybe too much!
Since the "new" rear end setup seems to have the quad exhaust tip not attached to the actual exhaust (maybe people who already took delivery can confirm) but just a cosmetic piece, I was wondering if it would be possible to plasti dip them... or the heat may be too intense. What happens to plasti dip when heated?
It could be a cheap option to the night package.
