It's a Dupont paint that changes colors, goes from green to purple to brown. I guess it's either a love it or hate it type thing. I hope I don't get sick of the color, if so I'll just repaint the car I guess. The car is a Pontiac Lemans with a 468 big block chevy and dual quads. I'll still bet my E63 amg would beat it in the quarter mile though, I guess the motor is stock.

 

Cool color. Not subtle, but nor is the car so I think it fits. Bet it sounds beastly!

nice car but the majority of those old muscle cars are all bark and no bite. Your 63 would probabaly smash the **** out of it.

 

I agree, I'll bet it's not real fast, dual quads don't really do much to make a car fast, just use more gas, but they look real cool, maybe add around 10 or 15 hp. I guess the motor is a stock bored 454 not really sure what the compression ratio is, probably fairly low. I guess if I did want a real fast car I could put a blower on it sticking out of the hood rather than just the dual quads with the tunnel ram intake. I'll probably just enjoy it for what it is though and put the top down for fairly short Sunday type drives and enjoy the sound of the big block and maybe take it to some car shows, that's mainly why the seller built the car was more or less a show car. It needs a radio as there is empty hole there now, but no biggie, I like working with that type of stuff, I'll put a dual sub in the trunk and amp and a nice head unit. I'm sure the guy who is selling the car had a nice system in there before and removed it, but I bought the car right so no complaints. According to the seller, everything, engine, trans and rear end only have around 400 miles.
