I still can't figure out how to activate the race start function on my 2014 E63. Looked through the owners manual and there is no reference that I can find. Can anyone help me figure this out? I'm sure that it should be simple.

Oil temp > 175F
Front wheels pointed straight
Traction control off
Left foot hard on the brake pedal
Rotate the knob to RS
Confirm with right flappy paddle
Stomp on the skinny pedal
Release brake

I think traction needs to be in sport mode, not off, if I recall correctly. I know my Black series will not allow LC with it off.

Like other said, its very easy.

-traction control in sport (or off, if i'm mistaken)
-Turn dial to RS (race start)
-foot hard on brake
-click right paddle to confirm
-floor it till rev holds
-release brake

I found the Race Start instructions in the electronic manual loaded into the nav system. The owner's manual just refers you to the electronic manual for details.
