2014 E63 Dyno
I was at the shop last week and there was an E63 non S there getting a dyno. It has a tune, downpipes and some cooling upgrade for the turbos.
Car made 656HP, which is significantly more than what I made with my tune
I guess it's time to start spending some more money, maybe I will end up needing turbo upgrades after all, they are just so expensive at this point.

That explains it. Mustang dynos are very manipulatable and sensitive to user inputs. Not suggesting anything was done to inflate the numbers intentionally, just that they are often not comparable to dynojets for that reason.

I disagree, I've seen a few dynos where they can put that power to the wheels especially with down pipes in the trunk tank. Example renntech tune only

I believe it was a AWD dynojet. AMS had both a mustang and a dynojet, I can't Rememer which 1 the E was tuned on, all of my cars have been tuned by them some mustang and some dynojet, I'll ask Eric to comment

Ok that explains it dyno jets read the highest of any dyno! Either way excellent numbers! For example if you made those numbers on mustang dyno then on a dynojet you would be over. 700

Dynos are a tool and nothing more, comparing dyno to dyno even by the same MFG will cause you to lose sleep at night.
I would like to point out that a mustang dyno can be manipulated to read MUCH higher than a dynojet with very little input. I direct your attention to this:
That is why one really really should never make a generalized statement like "it would make XXX hp on a mustang" because that mustang they are referring to can change hp run to run just by not setting it up right.
Dr. SS's stock / Baseline numbers were 491whp and 493tq.
