Hey all,

Used the Shadowline trim vinyl to black out the window trim and the rear trim over the plate.

The chrome grill and door handles still stick out though, and I'd like to decrease the "bright chrome" effect without making the car look like it has been heavily modified. I want to keep it looking tastefully done.

Below are some pics I just took. The car has Distronic, so I'd need a solution that would include the plasti-chrome in front of the distronic.

Can I have someone put the same tinted vinyl on the tail lights, the chrome sections of the grill, and the chrome sections of the door handles?

Is there then a color of Plasti-dip that looks "stock-ish" on the emblems but isnt bright chrome?

i put clear bra xpel on the distronic square on the dash....no issues...help prevent some rock chips

I love how the shadowline trim vinyl turned out. ow is it to apply? I've been contemplating using it vs plasti dip to do the same job but read on some forum threads (audis etc) that it's a PITA to work with. Do you agree?

is it applied like regular tape....may just use electrical tape, lol

My tint shop did my grill and window trim with gloss black 3M vinyl. I thought it turned out great. They did not do the trim around the MB emblem for the distronic but I think it looks great. Check out pics in link in my sig.
