I hink they replaced cardinal red with hyacinth red... I don't know if it's same color with different name or another shade of red. I was thinking about that color but I find that the red from calipers (even less the orange rom CCB) is not going well with car color. Not enough contrast.

Interesting. If I were to get an E63 it would be red with the night package and black wheels. Wish it had black/red interior too.

Ugh. That color is awful, belongs on a Camry. I desperately wanted my wagon in Mars Red, but of course they only gave us this poopy red.

The 996 paint code on the Hyacynth car is the same paint code as Cardinal red so they are the same. I saw one in the dealer 2 weeks ago but despite being partial to red cars I was not in love with the color.
We ordered an E63S AMG today in Designo Magno Cashmere White. It is my wife's car and she really liked that color.
