Just watched Motorweek's review of the CLA45 AMG and heard them mention that they have a DCT in it. Seriously? Wish MB would release a "complete" package with their vehicles.

It does have a DCT and it works really well. Best MB transmission I've driven. cLA AMG also has the highest output per litre of any production car save the P1' or so they say. It's a fun car.

Sorry guys, I reread my original post. I meant to write that a DCT in the E63 would have been the cherry on top. Just passed my differential oil change and have been enjoying the power of the car now, but would have loved to have had a DCT in it.

After reading more about the P1, I guess a DCT wouldn't be impossible for the E63 given the amount of tq (700+ lb-ft) handled by the P1's DCT.
