2014 E63 Command manual - Yes or No
I am thrilled with my new E63 Wagon thus far. I haven't put on many miles yet but it is a blast nevertheless.
The command system has its pros and cons as mentioned elsewhere. One beef is I haven't been able to import anything to the music register other than plain old audio CDs. My 2009 ML63 imported MP3 from SD card and more. However, the ability to play from larger SD cards and USB probably offsets that issue.
In trying to figure out the import procedure, I went to refer to the command manual and could not find one. There is a version of the manual in the command system, but you can't refer to that and program at the same time. Luckily, I downloaded the U.S. manual and have it on my iPad for reference. I was told by my sales associate that MB Canada no longer provides a hard copy of the Command manual. I wanted to ask if anyone in Canada can confirm this and also wanted to ask our neighbouring U.S. owners if they received a manual or not.
There are many other great things to enjoy with this vehicle and really this is only a minor annoyance, as I seldom need the manual except in unusual circumstances. It just doesn't make sense not to include one in a $100,000+ vehicle.
Hope all are enjoying their beasts!

Thanks, Benyl.
Do any American owners have any input? Did you guys get a Comand manual?
Thanks,
Wayne

Thanks Ksalno. It doesn't seem like they (MB) are providing them anymore. Its a pity in that in those few cases when you need it, its not there. As opposed to other vehicle functions where you can refer to the onscreen display and perform an adjustment while looking at the digital manual, you can't do two things at once on Comand. Glad I have a version on the iPad.
