Problem with Blind Spot Assist
I've been having random occurrences where my blind spot assist will become "inoperative" which shuts off the ESC and ABS.
The car is a 2010.
It's very inconsistent and I'm not sure whats potentially triggering it either. Having the blind spot sensors clean or dirty does not seem to be the reason. It used to happen more frequently when I'd use my saved AMG settings or switch it into sports mode. However I've also had times where this happens in comfort mode shortly after starting the car.
I'm just curious to know if anyone else has ran into this problem before I take her to the stealership.
Also, my TPMS seem to be reading for the opposite sides of the car. I've taken the car to many tire shops and have them manually switch the sensors yet they still do not read properly. This has never bugged me personally but I'm wondering if these 2 systems are tied together or maybe a larger electrical problem happening.
Thanks for your response!

People keeps on talking about the need to look over the shoulder, but that few milliseconds of doing so will get you into trouble when something happens in front of you suddenly during that few milliseconds--and that something happens a lot. In addition, I don't get why people need to see the flank of their cars in the mirrors. It's not like their cars will disappear if not within sight.
One thing to note about the SAE alignment for W212's driver side mirror is it cannot move out far enough for the ideal SAE alignment.
