My E63S Impressions/Wax Detailed

I've been trolling the forums for the past year so I decided to post some pics of my new toy after detailing it...I've been a hard core BMW guy for the past 8 years but when I heard MB decided to go awd it was an easy decision. Coming from several M5's and other BMWs I decided to make the switch.

I loved my X5M and the GTR since the power was very usable due to it being awd and I originally had the new M5 on order and when I heard MB was going awd I was very intrigued so I decided to cancel my M5 order and go with the E63S. I've had the car for a little over a month and I absolutely love it!!

Great looking car! Love the CCBs. Interesting about the silver wheels, was that special order?

I too was a BMW guy until I heard the E63 was going to be AWD and that alone swayed me from the M5. I have no regrets.

Hi Ray I've closely followed your posts and I completely agree with your post in comparing the BMW with the MB, both cars have there pros and cons but you really can't go wrong with either one.

As for the wheels I didn't special order them, my dealer located the car and did a dealer trade. I did see those wheels at the Miami Auto show on a E63S a few months ago and I asked my dealer if I could order the car with the polished wheels and they told me that option wasn't available on the ordering guide. They later told me the car displayed at the auto show may have had a special set of wheels to tour the auto show circuit, I'm not sure if that was B/S, but even my cars window sticker didn't specify any style or finish. I'm just glad I got the polished wheels.

Thanks for complements, I also luv the contrast of the silver wheels with CCB. Btw I was on the fence about getting the CCB but now that I have it, I'm so glad I did, not that the standard brakes aren't any good but I luv the look of the CCB and the ultra low brake dust.

Per the 2014 Ordering Guide the 10 spoke Silver wheels are standard on the E63, the 10 spoke Titanium is standard on the E63S and the 10 spoke in Matte Black is a $500.00 option.

Then there is the $1700 5 spoke forged option
