2011 E63 vs 2008 E63(W211 v W212)

Hi all,
I know I'm on the W212 AMG forum, but I really want to get your input as I've been researching the W211/W212. Most have said they either liked/didn't like the exterior looks, but loved the superior MCT transmission and suspension. However, I'm torn because I looked at the interior of the W212 and was very disappointed with the interior quality of the materials, including the C-class roof liner and no more alcantara.
Can anyone share some of their thought process on to reconcile the superior transmission/suspension but having the inferior interior, vs. the older E63? Thx in advance.
Patrick

2010 E63
I recently traded my 2005 E55 for a 2010 E63. I made the trade without driving the E63 as there are very few in my area and I purchased mine out of state. The E63 is still under factory warranty and I have a few issues for the dealer to address. The headlights have a V burned into them and I am not sure the suspension is operating properly. The ride feels harsh compared to the E55 which surprised me. The seats and interior is different but I like it. The E63 has a more 'Electronic' feel which you really notice when driving the car cold. That being said, I do like the E63 over the E55. The exhaust note is more aggressive than the E55 and the different driving modes really change the driving experience. The car is a real beast and the Sport + mode is very fun. My car has the 19" wheels and AMG steering wheel which make the car look really aggressive. I really like the new body style. The stereo in both cars is just a basic system and I will be adding a sub to the E63. The E55 was out of warranty and I found an E63 in the color and with the options I wanted. Glad I made the move. Can't wait to see how it compares to my 2012 Corvette Grand Sport at the drag Strip. Good luck with your purchase.

bump...going to check out 3 E63s this week - will report back.

Overall, I think it'll probably come down to the condition of the car, vs W211 or W212, along w/ the price. In other words, all things being equal, is W212 worth $42k vs an older W211 for $25k. I know some people don't like the newer W212 exterior, but i'm actually ok with it. I also like the design of the interior, the better suspension and transmission. However, I'm still trying to get over the cloth headliner and the lower quality plastic in the door panel/console.
Wish me luck.
P.S. I've had GREAT luck with my 2006 W209 CLK55 AMG Cab (now 92k miles) with no warranty, so I'm hoping the E63 will be equally reliable

What did the dealer do for the "V burn" in the headlights? I just bought a w212 2011 e63 and have the same issue with both headlights.
