2010 E63 or 2008 CL63
Folks, I'm torn between purchasing a 2008 CL63 or a 2010 E63. I'm seeing that pricing is similar. I know the CL63 is going to be cancelled and replaced with the S-coupe but it's got such sexy lines and is so deeply discounted now. On the other hand, the E class seems a bit boxy and not consistent with the current design language but the design will be current for a few more years. What would you do/recommend?

I drove both back to back before getting my E63. I really wanted to like the CL63. The engine was there. The handling was sorta-but-not really there... it felt huge. Turn-in did not feel as good either. The E does not feel like a big 4-door sedan. The MCT was worlds apart from the torque converter in the CL (I drove a 2010 CL63 and it still didn't have the MCT).
And as others mentioned, with all of the electronics and gadgets in the car, you better have a really damn good exclusionary extended warranty.

You've made a good choice. Plus the E is more useful and insurance is lower.
