Oversteer E63 4Matic

Oversteer E63 4Matic
Good morning,
I would like to know if purchasing an E63 4Matic non S pack I can still drive like a total hooligan, playing with the back end, making tyre barbecue. This is because I own a C63 and I just love doing this sort of stuff.

But can I get the back end out? There are plenty of videos like autoblogger and car and driver saying you can still drift or go sideways with it. There is not much I can do as I have already ordered the car.

I'm not an actual 2014 owner yet (car coming in the next month or so) but coming from a C63 I know what you meen by Hooligan! I dont think the 4matic E63 is even close. Some videos are actually showing RWD 2014 so be careful. Some other videos are on the wet... I think it will at best powerslide with oversteer but you wont be able to drift for as long as you want... Maybe an actual owner will dismiss what I'm saying (i hope!!).

But it's nowhere near the same. The new car is built more for speed than hooliganism, with the 4wd system you will need big ***** and lots of talent to drift on pavement with warm tires...
Several reviewers that like what you like have been disappointed with the way MB is going.
If I were you I'd get a '12 or 13. You'll save a lot of money that you can spend on tires!

Yes you can for a bit, but the front end pulls it right back into place. I've had it out a couple times but it is not hooliganistic in any way. On long high speed corners you can get all 4 drifting, cool feeling.

Great. BTW Should I get LSD for the Rear or not?
If you can oversteer a bit that is fine.
Another thing is 4Matic really worth it? Is the car still fun to drive? Does it understeer?

It does under steer, but not nearly as much as an Audi. Haha
I haven't driven a car without the LSD, but there is more to the S model. It all depends on what you want. I have heard that the power difference is imperceptible.

I've had both cars if u like oversteering get the rwd car, the 4matic will do it but u have to input more power and it takes higher levels of inertia to break loose and it snaps back a lot quicker if u do that a lot I feel it beats up the car, the rwd will effortlessly drift easily and is controllable and probably doesn't beat up the suspension/car as much since it takes a lot less inertia to break away...but to answer ur question yes the 4matic will most def power slide
