8-10k off a brand new one is good, and i would try and bake into the deal service plans at reduced costs or tire wheel warranty etc
Dealers were all over the place on their margins for profit when I shopped brand new ones... Some wouldn't entertain an offer less then 2k from Msrp and others were giving me 11k off Msrp ... Also shop out of state of you are willing as I did and better deals are out there.
