Minimum thickness Front Discs

Hey, can anyone tell me where to find the specs on minimum thickness for front ceramic discs on a W212 (2012)? Want to check them before I go in for a b0 service as I just know that the dealership will say they need to be replaced.

Thanks!

'14 E63S, '13 G550, '06 E320 cdi, and a bunch of other stuff.
The spec for minimum rotor thickness will be stamped onto your rotor hats. Either wheel side or hub side.

I believe the dark circle on the outer edge of the rotor face also indicated wear status. But I could not tell you how, exactly.

Not sure. I'm not in the same location as the vehicle at the moment. I will post in a week when I am there.

Thanks!

I zoomed in on a google picture of the CCB and it says 38,5 mm... not sure if they are all the same on every vehicule...

Factory specs based on the entry 'BE42.10-P-1001-08P'
MODELS: 212.070/277

FRONT:
New - 36mm
Wear Limit (consumer MAX) - 33mm
Wear Limit (service MAX) - 33.5mm

REAR:
New - 26mm
Wear Limit (consumer MAX) - 24mm
Wear Limit (service MAX) - 24.5mm
The service MAX is what the dealer uses when the tell you that you need brakes.

Are you sure that's the spec for the optional CCB rotors?

The CCB require a special 'test film' in order to determine their wear and usage.
