Using the camera to assist with parking
It's great that it automatically comes on in reverse, but what about when you're pulling into a tight spot front-in and want the camera to see things like lip clearance? On BMW's you can push a camera button at any time low speeds to turn it on. Do we have a feature like that?

Turning on front camera
Yeah, I believe you can turn it on under System using the Command knob"...
I'm interested in using the camera for that purpose too but think I might try to find some cones to test with first since I don't want to curb my bumper or wheels and I don't yet feel comfortable relying on the camera since I'm still pretty new with this car.

That's the only way I've found...to press sys, scroll to camera, push down. I know it sounds trivial but when parking that takes a lot of time in the moment. Would be nice to press a button once or have it automatically come on at low speeds or something.

Press and hold the "Sys" button on the center stack. Camera activates.
This stuff is in the Owner's Manual.

Up until now I was shifting into reverse and then back to drive quickly to engage the Birdseye ...
On my '14 e550 there was a "favorite" button that was in the area where the amg knobs are on the 63... I set this to 360 view

The E63 has a differently designed center console area than non AMGs. So we don't get the favorite button(s) [the amount of favorite buttons depends if your car has multicontour seats or not].
