This car has been up for sale forever. At that price it will continue to be up to sell forever. The dealer is absolutely smoking crack. Appears to be charging more than MSRP for a used car. Whatever idiot sales manager put this car up at that price needs their head examined.

wayyyyy overpriced, you could get into a new one for less money i believe?? if im correct guys! carbon ext package is a little over 5k, ceramics are 12k, not sure how much the tvs in the back are, but that is a useless option imo! I'd pass on that, you can find used cars for almost 40k less!

Yeah that car is way over priced!!! They are trying to sell an used car with almost 5000 miles on it at the MSRP price
I called them already 2 weeks ago and the guy I talked to told me it is the car of the GM there. It has RENNTECH tune on it. Almost every little options from exterior CF, CCB, CF interrior engine cover, rear entertainment system etc... I told him that car is way overpriced and they won;t find anyone buying it. He said what is your offer?
I offered 100k but never got a call back from them! I guess they'll be having this one for sale for years ! lol !
It reminds me of a white CLK BS that was for sale in the NY area for the same range (overpriced) and probably never sold ( I need to check that). I wonder if it's not the same dealer??

I use to be in the car business and use to see this sort of thing at times. Somebody who is a higher up in sales priced the car that high because they want the car for themselves. I'll be the car did have the lower miles on it to start with but they are driving and enjoying the car. This is how it works sometimes at dealerships that are not tightly enough controlled. It's a shame because it's the top dog at the dealership who ends up loosing money but it's sort of their own fault for not keeping a tight enough rein on things.

 

avoid this dealer... every car on their lot is beat up and when you arrive expect the same from the dealership/staff. from time to time they come across peculiar and unique units but then when you go to see the vehicle you see why they wound up with them. save yourself the time and energy and look elsewhere.

 

I called before I bought mine. They wouldn't budge off the $100K. It's going to keep sitting there for that I'd guess.

I knew that soon as I started reading the thread. This practice is pretty common especially with used car dealers.

That's why you sometimes see exotic car at dealers that seem out of place. It's really the owner's personal toy. But for tax purposes it's just a car in their inventory and the explanation to the taxman being that they want a car like that to add prestige and draw traffic to the dealership.

You typically don't want to touch a car from there. Even besides the price, the condition of the car is usually rough and the maintenance is often not up to the level required especially on exotics. AMG is not too bad as there really isn't any special maintenance requirements besides the diff oil on some models.

The used car industry is one of the dirtiest one that I have come to known.

Funny because I looked at the Vin info as well, car is loaded up except for the rear side air bag/ shades and comfort box, which are all preferable over rear seat entertainment . No double spoke 5's, either.

And...no CPO...
