New (to me) 2012 E63 Wagon

I just posted a pic of my car with the updated clear lenses (and grille). In my opinion, they look good on lighter color cars, like white or silver.
Yes, I've had mine for about 1.5 years and bought in the mid 70's with 11K miles and mint, I could not justify buying one new for at least 100 grand. I'm going to try some color transparent tape on mine and see how I can get those side lenses to look, they do look pretty funky in orange.

The youtube videos make it look easier than it is. To be honest, the OEM quality is (obviously) much nicer than this aftermarket one. I cracked one in the process. just take your time with it. Pro tip: some grease or quick detailer helps massage it in.
My friend and I did ours at the same time. It didn't get easier the second time.

Ive got the same-ish grill at home waiting to install, but I bought a gloss black grill and had them include a chrome star that I will wrap with tinted Oracal wrap. I wrapped the rack and the wrap has held up well to having several rack setups clamped on it.
The chrome doesnt look bad on your silver wagon, but on my black wagon the chrome in the front was a little ... "loud". On the other hand, I don't want to murder the car out... its not 2009 anymore ... so a tinted chrome star on a gloss black distronic grill.

agree with you cnolke. I'm not a huge fan of chrome, but I thought it looked pretty good on the Iridium Silver. Thought about doing the black-out grille, but was looking for more of an OEM "plus" look.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
I put some carbon fiber decal material over my orange lense today. took about 10 minutes to do both sides and I think looks a lot better than the Orange. Of course I loose the light, but no big deal, there are still turn signal indicator lights in the headlights and on the backside of the mirrors. Hopefully it will stay on ok, I know sooner or later it will have to be re-done with repeat car washes and that sort of thing, no big deal though, easy enough to do. I traced out the light shape on the backside of the decal material and then cut it out and stuck it on the opposite side and fit like a charm. Seems to be on pretty well. What do you all think about the look of this. I think it makes the car look more sporty and "AMG" like over the European looking orange.

If you're going to cover it with vinyl, you might be better off finding a matching silver color.

I kinda like the black carbon fiber look, it sorta matches with the lower grill and off course the tires are black and my door edge moldings I put on are black. I think it looks better than it did.

I'll admit the clear silver does look better but I just don't want to put in the time and money into changing them out. No matter what I do this car is not going to be a head turner like a new vette or anything, but I don't really care, I like the way the car drives and performs and that's all that really matters to me.

Yes, and I was there (late) with my 2014 e63 S Wagon which only one guy noticed and asked me about...which is FINE by me.
That guy brought out quite the collection with 918, Laferarfooo and Pagani

I would have asked you about it had I seen you there.
La Ferrari and P1 are owned by one guy. Ben Sloss.
Huayra owned by an older gentleman.
Not sure who owns the 918.
