The convenience of owning a flash loader means that you can switch between different map settings at your convenience, even remove the tune and return to the factory stock map for dealer servicing.

Does the 2014+ M157 tune require modification to the ecu or is it plug n play with the handheld as well?

There is no OBD2 solution available at this time for M157. For tuning the ECU must be sent in. Please PM your email address for ECU removal instructions.
