TPM Accuracy?
Does anybody know what is the accuracy of tire pressure system in our cars?
The issue is if I match the tire pressure using the cheap analogue pressure gauge, car sometimes shows up to a pound difference. If matching based on the car reading, then the other one could be off close to a pound. This is not E63-specific, noticed the same on C-class.... And is not a rounding off error as it can show 2 lbs difference for a short time and 1 permanently
Which one should I trust?

You should trust a good tire pressure gauge. The TPMS is helpful for reminding to adjust pressure during seasonal changes and obviously for punctures, etc.
Here's an inexpensive gauge one that I would trust:

Next step up:

Swivel chuck and locks in reading. Worth the extra $15
You want your appropriate tire pressures to fall in the middle area of a gauge's operating range. 0-60 is appropriate for for applications.
