Did mercedes do away with the rest heater feature or just not included with AMG cars

Pretty sure they stopped putting in cars around 01/02... It was a great feature

'14 E63S, '13 G550, '06 E320 cdi, and a bunch of other stuff.

I had it in my 2008 ML350 cdi, but my 2010 ML350BTC (same chassis) did not. IIRC.
