Lower options for 2014 E63 Wagon
Hi,
I can't seem to find enough info about this since the search option is terrible.
I was wondering for the E63 Wagon, is it on air-ride for all 4 corners? or like older AMG vehicles only rear is on air-ride?
I was wondering this to decide if I will be purchasing the vehicle since if I am able to just lower the car by getting the computer settings changed at a shop rather than buying a set of coils or springs.

Hey JM,
The '14 W212 is air ride in the rear and a conventional spring / shock setup in the front. I did the H&R H.A.S springs up front with lowering links in the rear (yet to be installed; waiting on wheels to show up). GMG Racing just did another W212 wagon with the same setup, though they did raise in the front since these photos were taken: https://www.flickr.com/photos/gmgrac...7645627996180/

On some of the old cars, yes, you could just have an ELM, but with our cars the Height Adjustable Springs are the way to go. There are still ELM's for the rear of the car, but the lowering links will do the same thing at literally a fraction of the price.
