2015 E63 Pricing
I really like the AWD aspect of the MB. I have not driven one yet but will this week. I really like the styling and the exhaust sound. This will be my daily as I drive about 10 miles round trip a day.
I am finding MSRP to be 106-111k for the options I want. I am assuming I should e shooting for 10k of MSRP or maybe more. I have not seen any incentives or rebates offered for the AMG cars. I am not putting any money down and will just trdae my lease which is about a 1k net loss currently.
I can get an M5 with the CP and MSRP of 112k for around 1200-1300 a month for 3 years and 12k miles. What should I be targeting for the AMG? I have great credit as well. I am the Atlanta GA area.
Thanks,
Mark

In terms of pricing, you can get a max discount on an ordered car of about 8.5 percent off MSRP. Many of us have. In addition, you can add a fleet discount if you are eligible. Some of the eligible organizations are the ABA, AMA and United Airlines Premier Elite Mileage Plus members. The United Airlines discount for that is $3500 for the E63. All in, I paid $95K for a $108K sticker car that I customer ordered and built exactly as I wanted. Of course, if you just want a black/black car like the majority of E63s or a white/black E63, you can always find one of those in dealer stock somewhere. Just look on Autotrader.com or Cars.com.
Note that the sticker prices on E63 S are less than comparably equipped M5s. This is because the E63 S is better equipped stock. An M5 is a stripper and requires very expensive packaged options to get you the options (comp package and executive packages are two of the big ones) you would want and expect.
On the other hand, M5 leases have generally been cheaper than E63 leases with higher residuals and lower money factors. You can certainly reduce your E63's lease money factor if you put down multiple security deposits (up to 10 -- each of which reduces the MF by .0007 for a total potential reduction of .0070) or do a one pay/single pay lease which reduces the money factor by .0080. You can also do autopay (although obviously not on a single pay lease) which reduces the MF by .0010.
Happy hunting.

can you explain how the multiple security deposits work? If the MF is 0.00180, I can only use a maximum of 3 security deposits else the MF will be negative (0.0007 * 3 - 0.0021). Similarly, if MF is 0.00180 and autopay reduces 0.001, does it mean MF is reduced to 0.0008. Seems too good to be true. Am I translating the formula correctly or misunderstood you explanation above.
thanks...

Note that you can only use MSDs to reduce the MF on standard rates. The E63 S is almost always standard rates so the MF reduction almost always applied. But you cannot use MSDs to reduce the MF further off promotional rates such as .00130 which is a promotional rate I have seen on some MB cars.
