If there is an outstanding recall will the dealership likely perform this when I get my oil change? I'm other words do they routinely screen all service visits for any recalls and perform the recall even if the customer is unaware of it?

I would recommend that every time your car is at the dealer, you request that they connect you to the comuter and check for any software updates. Once they do that, the computer should tell them is there are any recalls for your VIN. These are SOP but I'm sure that this is not consistant between all dealers. From what I know, MB will start addressing this latest recall mid March.

2019 E63 S
I brought mine into MB of Rockville Centre yesterday and was told that mine was produced recently enough that it already had the improved hood liner fasteners.

E63 AMG S Diamond White Saloon
no knowledge of this issue locally at MB dealer, can't imagine it's just a Nth American issue, perhaps the letter hasn't arrived down under yet?

2014 E63S Wagon, 2013 odyssey
It might just be a US issue. I went to http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/recall and put in my VIN and the attachment is what was provided for my 2014 e63 wagon.

Noticed this recall was opened on a vehicle I am attempting to purchase (MY 2014). Dealer has addressed, appears to be an easy fix.
