Michelin PSS Tires
FYI, the Michelin PSS is now available in the 285/30R19 size for the 2014+ E63 rear tires. It is shown on Michelin's website as a new size, so it may take some time to trickle down to the retail channels. This is great news for those who want to swtich to PSS tires but don't want to use the 295 width tire for the stock 9.5" rear wheels.

2019 E63 S
Yay!!!! The wheel dealer from whom I bought my HREs for my E63 S, Howey Industries, had told me months ago that he expected that size to be added for our cars. They were right.

The minimum wheel width for the 295 tire recommended by Michelin is 10". When installed on a 9.5", you will get an increased sidewall bulge. At the extreme handling limits it may fail, but so far many forum members have reported that it works.

MIchelin tires for rears
Hey Guys, Just spoke to Michelin on there hotline! Those rear tires in 285's are not available! Also spoke to my local dealer and he confirmed that! Sure you're not confusing it with the All Seasons? Summer rears in Pilot 3's are NOT avail! Would hope they'll finally come out as I've already switched from Pirelli to Cont. and they're both terrible. Car only has 14,000 miles. Last E55 had 18' PSS. and they were the best.

Joseyu is right. They're still on the Michelin website- not when you lookup E63, but when you lookup PSS and check sizes. This is great considering the Continentals are weak and the Bridgestone Pole Positions are gone in 6k miles.

Hey there - anyone have success in getting the PSS 285/30/19s (xl)? If not, i'm a bit worried about going to 295s because i like huggin' corners... i'll look for other threads but if someone could comment i'd be mucho appreciated.

The main reason I did not go with the PSS tires is they were such a hassle to get and still are. I checked Tire rack, they are out of stock on the 295's and do not even stock the 285's. Plus the 295's are expensive there. So I checked Tirebuyer.com. Yep, they stock the 285's but they are more expensive at $411.00 each than the 295's which are $350 each but of course they are out of stock on the 295's. lol. The front tires are no problem, just about every online retailer stocks those, but there has been a shortage on the rears for at least the past 9 months. The Bridgestones I got are always in stock and a couple hundred bucks each with the discount I got. They hook up like glue, rated at 280 wear rating the PSS are 300, so not much of difference, it really depends on how you drive. I don't really see how anybody could not be happy with the pole position Bridgestones, but when I do need tires in another 10K miles I'll try the PSS if I can get them to compare to the Poles. It would be nice if the PSS's gave a better ride as that has been my main complaint with this car all along.

15000 miles front and backs. So far. I still have 6-7/32 left on tread.
My rear pirelli were done at 18000, front were fine.
The PSS were Ccheaper than all other options at the time
