Looking to Purchase E63, Advice
Up here in Canada, looking at about 45,000 for a low mileage E63 (2010) No performance Package.
And 65-70k for the 2012+ with biturbo's
Now from what I've seen with biturbo's I know he'd be more likely to keep the car for longer given it seems like Biturbo has more potential modding from ECU tuning etc.
Can you Justify the 20k difference between few years more Warranty, for the Biturbo? Is it worth it? (Looking at one that has Carbon trim package + Diamond white, loaded completely, in regards to biturbo, where the 6.2's are more reserved black/black executive looking)
Of course the new C63 is also on the list, but he nor I can justify spending 70k on a C63 2014 507, when that e63 with biturbo can be found for 65-70 from what I've seena t least.
Thoughts?
Even throwing the gas difference for a 100,000km which is about 4,000$, and extended warranty, still left with another 12,000$ to do whatever you want with it comparatively.
We found a 2010 that only had 13,000km on it, but ya if they wouldn't allow a extended to be purchased on that, let alone if it has known issues to come.
Like eating through pair of summers pretty much a season and half lol
To me a C63 is a totally different class of car and IMHO not a great choice. I would have bought one in a heartbeat if it had the luxury of the E63, but the lack of available luxury options really boggled my mind. The M3 IMHO is loads better than the C63 except they are always underpowered and still are missing the luxury features I want if I'm stepping away from a true sports car.
The new M3/M4 aren't really underpowered, but the cabin is still underwhelming (like the w204). Again, not a good comparison between 3 and 5 series either.
