So only if I leave the car in comfort and shut down engine and get out...then come back... Get in the car ...as I open my door every once in a while I hear a wratchet/metal clicking/machine gun sound from the rear corner for about a second

drives and feels fine on the road and no apparent noise in the cabin but I always have the radio on and the sweet sound of amg music....

If I have the car in s or s+ suspension I don't hear this noise

Normal airmatic pump noise to raise the car? Or should I have them look at this next time I'm at the dealership. When the car is on and I select comfort ... No noises as it raises the car but again... I'm doing this as I'm cruising and have the radio on

I've heard this too on my car.

I got out and locked the car...kept hearing it do something around the rear bumper corner area sounded like what you described.

Good to know. Was playing with it last night going from lowest to highest setting and whisper quiet ... It only made the noise in the scenario where I left it in comfort suspension and came back to the car and opened the door

Every time I open the doors when it's sitting, it likes to "snort" when it releases the air. I dont really hear it filling, but it does give a "pffffft" a couple of times about every 10 seconds.
