rear fuse box in 2011
Anyone know how this is connected? I see it has some pretty big fuses and I'm trying to figure out if I can hook an amp with 25 amp fuse through it. I know an amp with 7.5 amp fuse will work. I'm assuming with over 200 amps of fuses in it that it's connected pretty decently to the front.

Be careful with adding electronics of any kind to the E63. I am not saying it can not be done, but depending on the system added and where its connected you will need to have the Dealer's Star system set the car's computers for the voltage/amps needed or other systems can be adversely effected.

This is Mercedes fault Its embarrassing that a car like this doesn't have any bass. My two corvettes had bass and I didn't have to turn the bass up. On this thing I've turned the bass up and the treble down and still there is like nothing. Its like having a stereo in a car from the early 90's except it does have a nice front sound stage.

There are many circuits in a Mercedes that are monitored by computers in the car. If the amperage draw changes in a particular circuit then error codes and messages may appear in the dash readout and the circuit may malfunction if the computer is not programed to recognize the amperage change. Also, some changes to the Sound/ Radio/ Navi system will require STAR programing. Try a google search and take a look. What you want to do may need nothing; but research it first or find a shop that routinely does the upgrade you want. Also, some wiring for the sound system is fiber optic.
