Going From C63 to E63
I've owned numerous C63's.
Sold my C63 a while back and i'm looking for a run around/daily driver.
I would be purchasing a 2009-2010 6.2 NA E63 if i was to get one.

How do they stack up against each other? Positives/Negatives... Reliability issues etc?

Do the E63's also have the headbolt issues?

Has anyone else made the transition?

Darn, I thought I had top of the line E Class and now I found out I could have gotten the E73

I would get a 2011 just for the dash and headliner and no headbolt issues. Although when I was looking their were lots of 2010's and not so many 2011's.

I think the E73 is very rare. LOL, I fixed the typo. But wow what fun a gas 7.3L could be.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Some early 2011 ones also have headbolt issues.

im holding out for the bi-turbos to hit the secondary market at a price I can swallow. that also gives me time to see IF and if so WHAT the E450 sport will be like. I honestly don't need a full blown AMG for a daily driver. but just my take.... id get a bi-turbo one. plus you can get all wheel. not sure that's much of a issue for ya but it is me.

Why would you go from the c63 to e63 with the m156?

I've contemplated the switch (still am) but will only go to bi-turbo m157 if I get rid of my c.

If you can afford it, but thats a big jump in price and if I was doing it, I wouldn't get the bi turbo without AWD. Probably a 30K difference in price.

I drove a 2013 C63 then a 2011 E63 right after it. I didnt even consider the C after that. The E is so much more car for the money.
