the brown trim, the yellow ambient lighting.........look terrible against that off red color......I dipped the S/S button black when I had my E class and it looked way better than that........those colors all together is why I give this project an F
Looks so cool! Can I add this to my C250? Hate to put my keys in the key slot every time.
if you have keyless go on your C2 50 as an option then yes absolutely this will work for you just like it worked for me and it will definitely be a nice touch to your interior
I think the choice of color was not so wise, to put it generously. Gloss black would actually fit in best to provide some contrast with the tan color.
Agreed or even a metallic black like obsidian on the Benz exteriors... But part of the niceness is that perfect oem white print START STOP written on there
Plus, for my new one, since there is a layer of varnish or whatever sealant over the whole thing it will never wear down

im actually talking about the button on the center console,
Oh... The AMG button... Sorry forgot to read that in your post
Don't know how the manufacturer of this red button did it but they stay it's a carbon fiber overlay and then multiple clear coats... It looks and feels like a high quality oem quality finish it's perfectly smooth unlike the oem silver start button that you can feel the depressions of the letters
You could get a graphics place (kinkos perhaps) do a black sticker of the AMG and then use this as an overlay. Paint the button your underlying color spray paint, once it's dry use the overlay, then apply a clearcoat spray multiple times and this will soften the raised edges of the sticker. If done correctly this could be seriously awesome
This is essentially what people have done when applying AMG decals to their calipers and then applying a high temperature clearcoat over that
Vdub. I think members would be more interested in the CF center console you have on you E63. Would you mind sharing a few photos of it and where we can get it. I am not a big fan of the current stock gloss black center console. Many thanks.
