Hey Guys,
Finally picked up the car from the dealer today (squeaky clean for 2 miles until it rained. Hasn't rained here in Cali this year yet, but get the car washed ???)
Anyway, to the point, The darn command knob on the console where your hand rests stopped working for the rotary action. No scrolling. It works left, right, forward, backward, and push down. Spin it until the cows come home clockwise or counter clockwise and NOTHING.
Tried restarting the car a couple of times. Tried everything I can think of.
Darn thing worked fine when I took it in. Fix one thing only to have a new issue.

common problem. It will need a new control assembly.

My service guy told me that on my drive home from the dealer.
Just kinda weird that it happened while at the dealer. Huh??
Had the whole car fully detailed. I am thinking they sprayed something in it or too near it.
Under warranty. Just another day with a loaner and driving across town to drop it off.
BTW, the engine compartment is a thing of beauty! Really nice. I mean it could pass for brand new!
Whatever they used on the interior though is almost caustic. Car smells a bit like kerosene right now. Gave me a mild headache on the way home!
Looks great though! Lol

Nice to hear from you as always.
Do you remember my b-day too? LOL HAHAHA
You are correct.
Even if I didnt though, it did happen on their watch. So I likely would have leverage anyway.
