Boca diffuser fitment

Anybody here got a Boca (or Eurotek?) rear diffuser?

Did you guys chop of the two central(ish) stock brackets from the car and just mount the diffuser via the sides and then some sealant/spacer tabs to secure it via the top perimeter?

The reason I ask is because after fitting mine yesterday, I'm not happy with the unsightly stock brackets that I can see just under the diffuser...kinda kills the look and makes it all look a bit cheap. From installed pics, I can't even see the bracket, but maybe it's something that I can't gather from internet pictures.

The Boca is garbag e. I have an old thread somewhere with all the diffuser options available and lots of pics. I have euroteck and its much better. Its very rigid. Slight fitment issues around the curves but not bad.

I didn't connect the two black plastic support beams when I did my install

They didn't match up well to with the diffuse . No issues tho

I'm intrigued as to why you think it's garbage...(not offended, just curious). The piece appears to be flawless, the weave is consistent and it fits perfectly now, granted with a bit of sealant.

No pics yet...i know...i suck

And yeah, those two support tabs - I'm going to chop them off next week. It's really unsightly. Other than that, I'm loving the look especially from dead on behind the car. the square look really suits the car

having held both, and seen cars with both, it was much less impressive...ok maybe not garbage...post some pics of the brackets you are seeing...its probably the black curved ones that attach to thebumper themselves right?

Oh really...damn. Meh, well at least I don't know any better and will unlikely see another one in the flesh due to the rarity of the car

Yeah it's the two central tabs that connect to the stock lower brackets for the stock 'flap' that this diffuser replaces. I'll post up pics soon.

Infact, I need to post some pics of my car in general. It's come along so nicely since I've had it

I bought it through a german company called....Carbon Fiber Dynamics...I think? Can't remember. It was £500GBP which is around £100 less than a Eurotek, but I didn't want to buy from CKS in the UK and I couldn't find any other distributors, so...

Mini thread revival - thought I'd update with pics, as I never did when I posted this thread.

So, the fitment not so great around the sides - in particular the right side you can see it hanging off by the exhaust tips:

And once sealed and pressed into the bumper:

^^^ probably not the most close-up pic of the diffuser fitment itself, but I can assure you it perfectly fits with the curves of the bumper and it's very nice.

One thing I would say, going back to the garbage comment...lol it probably is, now that I've had it for a while. It's very so slightly warped (you can't notice it unless you view it up close and personal when washing the car) and I have my doubts as to whether it's real CF because it feels very brittle. That being said, visually it looks A1 perfect in terms of the quality of the finish. Had it been a Revozport part, there'd be no doubt about the quality...damn...those guys know how to make some delicious car parts.

Yeah no, i'm aware of this sir. I probably wasn't clear enough.

What I meant was that the quality of the construction of the Revo products are the real deal and in a different league to the Boca part.

That being said, yes I do prefer the design of the Boca...hence why I have it

It does look great in the pics and complements your rear deck spoiler. Thanks for taking the time to share.
